Behind The Scenes: Design Process
Marketing
Working closely with local artist Susan MacQueen was an inspiring experience, I was introduced to a world of expression and the art of business through sculpture and presentation events inviting audiences, investors, and art connoisseurs a like to exclusive galleries and studio tours. Assisting her in captivating sculptures through photography and forming an online presence for her is what sparked my love for tech and design.
Product photography resurfaced again in my career while working at a high end jewelry store where I managed marketing elements and website content to ensure that their unique custom designed jewelry not only reached but enticed the customer online as much as in real life. I also automated and tracked email interactions, integrated SEO and simplified social media analytics creating back links to the store website and highlighting the company's success stories for promotional content.
This series of interior grocery signs, was created by installing light fixtures beneath back drop images. Projecting a warm light onto the backboards of each food department created a cast shadow onto the imagery on the wall. The words "Bakery" "Deli" "Produce" "Dairy" were legible in shadow over the mounted large format prints.
Character Design
Classes for children offered at local non profit art centers, provided students with skills such as sequential story telling, story boarding, layout design and character development.

Mixed Media
With every project in multimedia art, the practice of pushing technique to the next level opens up possibilities in the creative process. Learning the limitations and reactions of the mediums used in each project creates an exploration of unique ideas and expression found in all aspects of visual effects.
